Wald.ai, a Palo Alto-based startup focused on safeguarding sensitive business data in AI applications, has raised $4 million in seed funding from Entrada Ventures, Inventus Capital Partners, and angel investors from leading cybersecurity firms.
The company’s platform enables businesses to use AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini securely by redacting sensitive information in real time. This ensures organizations can safely leverage AI for tasks such as document querying and content creation without exposing proprietary or personal data. All user data processed by Wald is encrypted end-to-end, ensuring that no one, including Wald.ai, can access sensitive information.
Vinay Goel, co-founder and CEO of Wald.ai, highlighted the platform’s value, stating, “Contextual data protection is the smart way to keep sensitive data safe when using generative AI platforms.”
Already adopted in industries like healthcare, finance, and legal, Wald.ai is offered as a SaaS solution at $19.99 per user per month, with a free trial available.
